I am a British artist who lives and works in Alton, Hampshire and London. I create contemporary artworks from reclaimed building materials, exploring the stories, memories and possibilities held within materials that have been used, discarded and given new life.

My work sits between art and building, making and labour. Working alongside my dad has shaped the way I understand materials, teaching me to see them as more than just functional objects. Cement, sand, plaster, bricks, timber, tarpaulin, polyethylene plastic and other building remnants carry traces of their former uses, histories and the hands that have worked with them.

In the studio, I experiment with these materials, combining cement, sand, plaster, industrial gloss, sealant, polyethylene plastic and paint through an ongoing process of transformation. Materials shift, merge and reform into new forms, with each work emerging through the interplay of action, chance and process. I am interested in the physicality of making, the hands that build and the hands that create, and the unexpected beauty that can emerge from labour. Through this process, discarded materials become something newly considered, revealing the histories, human gestures and possibilities embedded within them.

I received the JPES Partnership Art Prize at The London Group Open 2019 and was elected by The London Group Membership Committee to become a member in 2020, and since 2026 I have been represented by Chrissy Moore Art Advisory.
